Description of UVC300 and UVC144 lamps:

Based on the needs expressed by dentists to quickly disinfect their practice in a few minutes, PTSE and PTS have developed a mobile luminaire on casters comprising 4 lamps of 75 W each for a total power of 300 W. A power of 144 W equipped with 4 UVC neon lights of 36 W is also offered for sale. The device includes an adjustable timer from 0 to 20 minutes, an audible and light alarm as well as a remote control. 4 motion detectors will cut off all radiation in the event of an intrusion into the room where decontamination is in progress.

The 4 UVC tubes are protected by stainless steel bars preventing any awkward contact on the tubes. Two stainless steel handles positioned on the central structure of the lamp allow flexible and very stable movement in complete safety.

Security :

Following the recommendations of the European Commission, (www.ec.europa.eu/heath/scientific_committees/scheer/opinions_en) UVC rays have caused only a small number of incidents. However, exposure to these rays poses risks to the skin and eyes because they are potentially carcinogenic and attack the cornea of the eyes. For, it is therefore imperative to provide a system that completely puts UVC rays off the person in charge of using the lamp by self-timer, motion detector and remote control.

Likewise, lamps which are fragile and which contain mercury vapor must be protected against any unfortunate action by care providers such as cleaning. The lamp must also be able to move on a stable base and be able to be stored after use in as little space as possible.

Certification:

All electrical components used in this device are CE certified to ensure quality and safety for users.

UVC-144 and 300 lamp advantages:

  • Excellent stability in motion, no risk of tipping, robust
  • Excellent mobility thanks to high German quality Blickle castors and two stainless steel handles fixed on the lamp structure. Ideal for moving the lamp from cabinet to cabinet
  • Very good protection of UVC tubes thanks to stainless steel rods and Lexan spacers. No risk of impact on UVC tubes
  • Great simplicity of operation
  • Safe use
  • Quick disinfection of the practice or the room
  • Effectiveness of UVC which reaches surfaces inaccessible to disinfection liquids
  • No need to ventilate the room
  • No special maintenance
